Consultant, Former Executive Vice President – L&T Special Steels and Heavy Forgings Pvt. Ltd
He is a Mechanical Engineer from BHU – Institute of Technology. He attended a Senior Executive Program at the London Business School.
His career spans 41.5 years with Larsen & Toubro Ltd in various roles in Manufacturing, Project Management, Materials and Business at Powai, Hazira in Surat and Sohar in Oman.
During the period from 2007 to 2012 he took the responsibility of establishing a Heavy Engineering facility at Oman. The Greenfield project involved construction, commissioning and qualifications.
He was Chief Executive at L&T Special Steel and Heavy Forgings from 2016 till 2023. He has been involved in development of Steels and alloys , notable one being the Apurva Alloy for the Indian Nuclear Program.
His career started with fabrication of thin stainless-steel equipment in 1mm thickness and transitioned to manufacturing heavy forgings with thicknesses up to 750mm.
