Sameer is KPMG’s Global Port & Maritime Leader with over 22 years of experience in the infrastructure sector, with deep expertise in public transport, logistics, and maritime sector. He has supported both government and private sector clients on major initiatives, including engagements with Dubai RTA, Delhi Metro, and Hyderabad Metro. He has been closely involved in the conceptualization of the Maritime Development Fund of India—announced in the Union Budget 2025—as a government-backed initiative to support investments in Shipbuilding initiatives. He has also contributed to identifying priority areas under Maritime India Vision 2030 and Maritime Amrit Kaal Vision 2047, with a focus on clean fuel transitions and ecosystem development.
