Rajdeep Bhattacharya is a seasoned civil engineering leader with over 28 years of experience delivering high-value infrastructure, marine, and urban mobility projects across India. Currently Vice President–Projects at RRSM Infra, he has led major metro rail, tunnelling (TBM/NATM), elevated corridors, highways, and marine terminal projects for top public and private sector organizations. He has successfully delivered several metro projects in leadership roles while working with organisations like LnT, Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Ltd and AECOM to name a few.
A Doctorate in innovation management and design thinking and a certified Professional Engineer (PE), PMP, and a Chartered Engineer, Rajdeep is recognized for his expertise in end-to-end project lifecycle management, strategic business growth, contract negotiation, and risk mitigation. He has successfully managed projects exceeding INR 3,000 Cr, including landmark metro packages in Pune, Nagpur, Mumbai, Delhi, and Ahmedabad, as well as critical works in nuclear power, oil & gas, and hospitality sectors.
Rajdeep is acclaimed for innovative application of advanced construction methodologies, cross-functional team leadership, and a strong focus on safety and quality-earning accolades such as the ROSPA Gold Award. He is also a certified corporate trainer, structural auditor, and thought leader in process improvement and business transformation.
Fluent in five languages and experienced across diverse geographies, Rajdeep brings a strategic, client-focused, and innovation-driven approach to infrastructure development, consistently delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of excellence.
