Praveen Kumar Agrawal, presently working as Chief Engineer cum
Executive Director in CPWD at Mumbai. He belongs to the cadre of Central Engineering Services – 95 batch. He is a
graduate in Civil Engineering from HBTI Kanpur and completed M. Tech
from NIT Kurukthekra in Geotechnical Engineering. He has a diversified
experience of more than 25 years in varied fields of civil engineering. He
has worked at stations like Lucknow, Shimla, Siliguri, Jaipur, Dehradun, Ranchi, Goa etc. Sh. Agrawal has a special aptitude in conservation and rehabilitation of
monumental/ heritage structures of the nation. He has also worked for
the construction of border roads and security fencing along the
Bangladesh international border at West Bengal. He also has worked in
tough and arduous regions of the country including the snow desserts of
Himalayas. Sh. Agrawal has recently completed one of the prestigious project of
construction of new campus of NIT Goa using modern technology of RCC
Pre cast construction alongwith use of sustainable development practices. The project has been inaugurated by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India. His work and contribution to the society in the field of engineering has
been widely acknowledged by the Government of India and other
stakeholders. He has received many awards and decorations including DG medals from
the CPWD, Government of India. He has also received awards and
recognition from different heads of institutions of the government
including the CAG of India, Shashastra Seema Bal, IIAS, Indian Army, ITBP
etc. Currently he is handling another important project of high rise pre-cast
RCC construction in tough coastal conditions for Customs department at
Wadala Mumbai.
