Mr. Deepak Vaidya is a distinguished techno-commercial professional and Mechanical Engineer with over 30 years of experience across multiple verticals of the steel industry. A Fellow of the Institution of Engineers (India), he currently serves Outokumpu India, part of the world’s leading producer of sustainable stainless steel. His expertise spans corrosion mitigation, sustainability, and life cycle cost analysis, with a strong focus on driving the adoption of advanced material solutions.
Mr. Deepak Vaidya is an invited faculty for the PG program on Corrosion Management & Technologies by CII-CMC and IIT Ropar, and a member of the expert panel group of the Institution of Engineers. He also actively contributes as a member of CII’s Food and Dairy Committee, the ASME ASES India Group, and is the former Honorary Secretary of the Indian Institute of Metals, Delhi Chapter. His leadership and industry involvement continue to influence technical excellence and sustainable practices in India.
