Anil Khurana is a renowned architect with over 30 years of expertise in architecture and design. Mr. Khurana currently serves as the President of Architecture & Design at Kalpataru Limited in Mumbai, having held senior design leadership roles with leading developers and consultants both in India and abroad. His extensive portfolio includes various projects, such as high-end residential complexes, commercial spaces, retail environments, hospitality venues, and mixed-use developments. Notable achievements include leading the design of a 108-acre mixed-use cybercity and 200-meter-tall residential towers, showcasing his ability to deliver iconic architectural solutions.
In his current role, Mr. Khurana develops client briefs and delivery strategies and leads design management and development processes. He ensures that all projects adhere to the Kalpataru Standards and meet client requirements through close collaboration with clients, tenants, subcontractors, and contractors. His approach emphasizes best industry practices and a hands-on methodology, critical for timely and cost-effective project delivery.
Mr. Khurana’s leadership extends to overseeing teams in architecture, interiors, landscape design, and Building Information Modeling (BIM). He organizes and chairs design reviews and facilitates value engineering sessions to ensure cohesive management throughout all project stages. His commitment to excellence is evident in his meticulous scheduling of design reviews at key control points.

Before joining Kalpataru Limited, Mr. Khurana held significant positions at M3M Limited and DLF Universal. He has a Bachelor of Architecture from the School of Planning & Architecture (SPA) in New Delhi. He furthered his education with a Master Mariner Course from T.S. Rajendra at Mumbai’s Mercantile Marine Department (MMD). Additionally, he is LEED Certified-ID from the American University (AUD) in Dubai, emphasizing his commitment to sustainable design practices.
